Overview
Created for Dutch water utility company Brabant Water, this VR training game has players perform key procedures like repairing a broken water pipe, installing entire new setups and talking to residents.
Key features
Realistic tool interactions
All tools required to complete their scenario are implemented as VR items for players to use.
Operator application
A separate PC application is available for starting, managing and monitoring VR training sessions with full spectator support.
Scoring and feedback
Players are graded on their performance while playing through one or multiple scenarios.
My contributions
- Implemented PC spectator system.
- VR devices broadcast their local session as a multiplayer server, which the spectator app can join in order to spectate that VR player’s gameplay.
- Implemented various held tools.
- Implemented shut-off valve and water meter replacement interactions.
- Implemented pylon- and barricade deployment system.
